On 9/22/20 MAGMutual and West Virginia Mutual Insurance Company issued a press release advising they have decided to join forces and become a single company. No date was given for the completion of this transition, but the press release did advise the combining of the two entities is in the last stages of regulatory and policyholder approval.
According to the press release, “West Virginia Medical …will continue to operate as a Charleston-based, separate legal entity domiciled in West Virginia…”
